Wow. Wait. What? What just happened?
Our viewing crew was SHOCKED at the elimination. We all did the gay gasp, even the straight women. I was not expecting that result at all. How is Ricky still in this thing?
In other news, Christian has gone from being my arch nemesis to being my favorite person on the show. He is SO. FUNNY. Gah!

Re: Season4, Ep 4
Thu, December 6, 2007 - 6:47 AMHonestly.
Chris' dress was quite good. And what the hell do you do with 80's shoulder pads?!
His jacket was not great...but it wasn't the worst thing up there either.
That honor was reserved for Crybaby's piece of shit.
I love PR...but sometimes they just get it so wrong.
My crew called it when it came down to the final two...the fat guy's getting the axe...it's fat discrimination.
Plus...having a crier around is always good for ratings.
Personally I find his drama and backstory tiring. DTMFA! -

Re: Season4, Ep 4
Thu, December 6, 2007 - 7:48 AMI was upset that Chris got the axe. He had created some interesting stuff and from the looks of it they were well crafted. Not a safety pin to be seen on his men's wear. Has Weepy Ricky really put out anything worth while? So far his stuff has been crap and the dress last night? Yikes.

Re: Season4, Ep 4
Thu, December 6, 2007 - 8:59 AMI am shocked. I liked Chris. I thought his dress from the first challenge was stunning, and I would totally wear it.
I think if the judges think they both missed the mark on their "idea conception", then it should come down to construction...and clearly, Chris' was made perfectly...unlike Ricky's...I mean come on...it didn't even fit the model properly!! And beyond that...Ricky has been in the bottom 2 every week...doesn't that tell them something? Why eliminate Chris? he has been succeeding so far.....I disagree with this elimination alot! How many weeks are we going to have to look at Ricky's poorly made crap?
I am dying to know what has Jack in a meltdown next week though!!

Re: Season4, Ep 4
Thu, December 6, 2007 - 10:51 AMI can't say I was surprised. When it comes down to watching Ricky or watching Chris, Ricky makes for better TV. Sure they both cry-- but Ricky is the Niagara Falls of teardom. As much as PR would like the public to believe it's ultimately about the designs it's really the personalities that chose who stays and goes. (Stating the obvious, I know).
Last night I wanted to jump through the TV screen and pummel Victoria. Ugh. I've known way too many people like her in my life. Loathing her 100% enough to make a Victoria voodoo doll this weekend. I was surprised by her passive-aggressivity. Then again it's not like I know her (and now I certainly don't want to!)
Geof, Christian would be my favorite person on the show if he stopped saying everything was "fierce." Perhaps he'll grow on me like Athlete's foot. Until Elisa gets the boot she's my favorite person. I love, love, love her. When she stares at people with that grin on her face I get all gooey inside. She makes me tingle in my naughty areas.
What really made me elle-O-elle last night was when Hedi barked at Sweet Pea when Sweet Pea was hemming and hawing over whether or not Steven or Chris should be eliminated. Sweetie obviously doesn't do well being put on the spot. I hope we all get to meet "Mean Pea" one day. I foresee major carnage. She's the type that will take scissors and stab someone, I just know it.
Tangent: How cute is Rami when he's wearing his glasses? I wish he wouldn't clip his chest hair. Speaking of chest hair, anyone notice how greasy Kevin's was last night? Whoa and eww.
I can't wait for Jack's breakdown next week. I'm practically touching myself I'm so filled with anticipatory-schadenfreude. So mean of me. Then again, I am mean.
Who like the winning designs? -

Re: Season4, Ep 4
Thu, December 6, 2007 - 12:00 PMNot to be a spoiler puss...but rumor on the internets (thanks GWB) is that Jack has to leave because of a staph infection.
Which, if true, will suck. Who will carry Christina around if he leaves?! -

Re: Season4, Ep 4
Thu, December 6, 2007 - 1:20 PMoh wow...that sucks if he leaves.....I kind of like him after he won the men's challenge...he was so giddy...saying he almost peed himself....reminded me of Jack McFarland a little! -

Re: Season4, Ep 4
Fri, December 7, 2007 - 6:16 PMI loved Rami's dress, for the second week in a row. Christian is totally hilarious; I must agree. Did you see his face after the winner was announced? He was so annoyed.
If I could have sent anyone home last night, it would have been Victoria. -

Re: Season4, Ep 4
Fri, December 7, 2007 - 7:00 PMI liked Victoria's dress far more than Rickys...So she is a little controlling, probably not an unusual trait for a sucessful clothing designer. -

Re: Season4, Ep 4
Sat, December 8, 2007 - 3:36 PMI agree that Victoria's dress was better than Ricky's, but so were virtually all the other clothes on the runway. I thought Victoria's dress was kind of boring, and I hated that stupid little vest she made a few weeks ago for the Bitten challenge. And wasn't she also the person who put that god-awful, tacky, ugly-ass metallic flower spray on her black dress that she made? That was just hideous; it seriously looked like she had ripped it off of a Christmas present that had been through the gift wrap dept. at Macy's. -

Re: Season4, Ep 4
Mon, December 10, 2007 - 1:16 PMThank goodness. I thought I was the only one who hated the Bitten challenge dress.
Who the eff would wear that thing?!
