would have been ok with jillian winning, but i just didn't think she was doing anything exciting. she still creates "employee of ralph lauren" wear. don't think it's the last we'll see of that schnoz, though. re-build her better, stronger, faster...
rami is an egotistical tool who says things like "creating beauty, it's what i do", and then gives us a toga. and if i had to hear about how he's wanted this since he was 5 one more time, and yeah, yeah, we know you're from jerusalem. hope he gets gifted a pantone chip book or something. -

Thu, March 6, 2008 - 1:27 PMI try to judge the finals by the "Wow!" factor. Meaning, how many outfits from each designer's line did I say "Wow!" to when the model came around the corner.
Final Wow! scores-
Jillian- 0
Rami- 1 (the ribbon dress)
Christian- 5
Jillian's line was boring, but they were very wearable designs.
Rami made some horrible color choices and that gold dress was seriously ugly. Two of the three pieces he showed for the Chris playoff win, the black & white dress and the couture black dress, are NOT flattering. That black dress reminded me of the mistake that Santino made with his line- looks great on the dress form, but not on the model. It didn't fit and it moved independently of the model- like she was wearing a long black box with bows on it. His weaving on some of the pieces was interesting, but really, would you wear that? It's like he had a Martha Stewart "Lattice-topped pie 101" TV episode stuck on repeat during the five months he was working.
I still say Christian is the only one from this season who would have stood a chance if he were on last season- even then I think he comes in third. Love him though. Especially when he broke down and got over himself, and showed some emotion, nerves, and humility. AND when you saw what he had to overcome in terms of a workspace at home. He basically lived, worked, and slept in a closet-size space.
I am really happy Christian won!

am i the only one who thought they all did a fantastic job. i swear this is the only season where i felt all three were strong competitors and capable of winning. this made it even more exciting to watch because i felt it could've gone either way.
past seasons were very predictable on who was going to win because you maybe had one or two out of the finalists who were really good. this season they all did some great stuff.
I do believe Christian deserved to win, i think it's unfair they scold Rami for showing the same 'ol grecian dress; can Christian do anything without ruffles or poofy sleeves? it was the same look until he got to the feather dress.
Posh Spice annoys me to no end, she has no style, no taste, and had no business being a judge! -
